About

A bench, a few hand tools and a notebook.

Dovetail Notes is a small collection of working notes on joinery, timber and sharpening. Entries are short and meant to be used at the bench, with the drawing open next to the saw.

The drawings are made for this site. Tables and diagrams are approximate: always check them against your own wood, your own tools and a test piece.

The notes are not updated on a schedule.
